Samaritans of Singapore (SOS) is dedicated to be the premier organisation in suicide prevention. Our mission is to be an available lifeline to anyone in crisis. Every day, SOS attends to more than 100 people who are in crisis, thinking of suicide or affected by suicide through the different services provided.

You can help us attend to the next person in crisis.

250% TAX REBATE

the Government has set the tax deduction for qualifying donations at 250% of the amount of donation. Individuals, companies, or organisations that make a donation are required to provide their tax reference numbers (e.g. NRIC/FIN/UEN) to the IPCs in order to be given tax deductions. With this change, IRAS no longer accepts claims for tax deduction based on donation receipts (IRAS).

DONATE specifically TO SOS LOSS PROGRAMME

SOS has to raise around S$260,000 every year to sustain our LOSS programme as it is not funded by the Community Chest. Through LOSS, we provide emotional support to family and friends grieving the suicide of a loved one.

Help us reach out to survivors of suicide.

For cheque donation, please indicate that the donation is for the LOSS programme on the back of the cheque.
