Silence has never made anyone stronger. Let's talk
Help break the silence. Join us this Suicide Prevention Awareness Month as we address an age-old stereotype with an inspiring two-part film.
Suicide Sees No Gender
Talking about your emotions doesn’t make you weak. It simply makes you human.
Through open conversations and a supportive community, we can create a safer, healthier space around the topic of suicide and mental health.
This Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, reach out to those around you and show that you care.
Samaritans, Not Strangers
The heart of a volunteer is not measured in size, but the depth of the commitment to make a difference in the lives of others.
In this video, we sat our volunteers down to have a frank and open conversations with each other. They open up on their vulnerabilities and form a bond that will mirror the kind of conversations volunteers have with their clients.
If you wish to be a Samaritan too, our applications are accepted all year round while interviews and training are conducted regularly.
Ending the Silence
Together, we can all be an available lifeline.
Let's Begin This Journey with #HowRU
Join us in the #HOWRU Virtual Walkathon. At these uncertain times, let us encourage one another that we will be on this journey together.
Your contribution in registration fee will go in support of the cause of suicide prevention in your respective home country, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Hong Kong.
Find out more about our event and our programmes at howru.sg.
*Suicide survivors are people who have lost loved ones to suicide, and whose life has changed because of the loss.

International Volunteer Day 2021
This International Volunteer Day, we want to thank our SOS volunteers, as well as all other volunteers out there for their selfless acts of kindness. You have been a great strength to our community, and a lifeline to many among us.
Thank you for being an invisible friend; thank you for being a Samaritan.
Check In
*Beep!* We check in everywhere we go but what does it really mean to ‘check in’? In this day and age where everything seems to revolve around Covid-19, we explore the little things that matter and the power of how a simple check in can go a long way.
Join us in encouraging those in need to seek support and have honest conversations with loved ones.
This season of giving, give back by funding more honest conversations. Your gift will go a long way in helping us to sustain our mission of being an available lifeline to anyone in crisis.

SOS: The Year 2022
To our partners, donors, and friends of SOS, thank YOU for partnering us in making a difference in 2022.
This year, we:
📲 Responded to more than 20,000 CareText messages
⏰ Contributed close to 23,000 hours via our 24-hour Hotline
📞 Served over 50,000 calls of distress
💪🏽 Trained close to 1,000 individuals to be a first responder to at-risk individuals
❤️ And provided hope and a lifeline to many others who were contemplating suicide
Nevertheless, we recognize that there’s still a lot more work that must be done. Nobody should feel alone during the holidays – reach out, and be there for your loved ones. 💕
